Most Read: See Barcelona still confident in signing Pogba on January Transfer
Barcelona are confident they will sign Paul Pogba, athough they have accepted that the deal won’t be completed this summer, reports in Spain claim.
The Catalan giants are expecting to
sign the French World Cup winner next year after a falling out between the
player and Jose Mourinho. Red Devils chiefs are reluctant to cash in on the
player, who they signed back from Juventus for a then world record £89million,
and certainly won’t let him leave this year.
But Barcelona believe they have
turned Pogba’s head and are convinced they will sign him next summer, according
to Sport.
Pogba may not be alone in arriving at the Nou Camp, with deals for Paris Saint
Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot and Ajax star Frenkie de Jong also being
worked on. But Pogba would certainly be the biggest signing – and Barcelona
view his situation to being similar to that of Philippe Coutinho’s.
Coutinho
joined Barcelona in January in an £142million deal having pushed for a move away.
And now they expect Pogba to do the same in what’s set to be another huge
arrival in Catalonia.
