News: Mourinho slams Rashford after man Man U win, and see the player he praises so shocking
The England international was given
his marching orders after leaving his head in on Burnley defender Phil
Bardsley.
And Mourinho believes the youngster
was naive. “I don't know what happened,” he said “I would say it was naive. It
was a kid and a very experienced man.
“Bardsley's been in the game for 20
years and Marcus is a naive boy." United ran out 2-0 winners at Turf Moor
thanks to a brace from Romelu Lukaku. The winning margin could have been higher
but Paul Pogba saw his penalty saved by Joe Hart.
However Mourinho praised the
Frenchman following the miss. "I never blame a player for missing
penalties,” he added.“I blame the ones who refuse to go up there. Paul's scored
some good ones for us."
United bounced back from a
disappointing defeat at home to Tottenham on
Monday. And Mourinho was pleased with his side's reaction as they dominated with
a convincing display. He continued: "I think it was a very, very good
performance with a result which was short.

They played very well as a team, and
there were very good individual performances and we should score many more
goals.
“The result shouldn't have been open
until the last minute. "There were lots of good performances but Fellaini
was fundamental, together with Smalling and Lindelof. Luke Shaw had a good
performance and there were many others, too.
"We lost so many chances and Joe
Hart made important saves. "I don't remember such a comfortable
performance as we've shown in the last two matches."
