Most Read: See who Man United, Liverpool, Man City & Spurs can possible face in Champions League

With just three spots left in the Champions League, Premier League sides can begin thinking about who they will be drawn against in the group stage of Europe’s premier club competition.

The final three play-off matches take place on Wednesday evening, with the draw starting just 24 hours later.

Manchester City are already assured of their spot in Pot 1 as champions of England, along with five other title winners from Spain, Germany, Italy, France and Russia, as well as reigning holders Real Madrid and Europa League winners Atletico. Tottenham and Manchester United are guaranteed to be in Pot 2, while Liverpool could yet join them, with the draw promising some mouth-watering ties…

WHEN IS THE DRAW AND HOW CAN I WATCH IT?
The draw for this year’s Champions League takes place on Thursday, August 30 at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. The build-up begins at 6pm BST, with the draw itself expected to take place half an hour later, and can be watched either on BT Sport or via the live stream on Uefa.com.

*While pot one has been decided for some time, Wednesday night’s matches could still alter the seedings dramatically. Benfica will be in Pot 2 if they overcome PAOK, otherwise Liverpool will move up and claim both their spot and a more favourable draw. PSV and Salzburg also still need to claim their places on Wednesday, and if they fail to do so then Valencia will jump up into Pot 3.

WHEN WILL THE MATCHES TAKE PLACE?

Each team will play their group opponents twice, home and away, over six gameweeks. The group stage begins in the middle of September and runs until December, with matches played on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
